Unit/Week Topics Objectives Readings/Media Interaction with Content Assessment

Organize by units or weeks

 

List the topic for the unit or week List the objectives (identify Bloom’s Taxonomy level for each) List the readings and media to be consumed and digested.  Consider media from graphic organizers, Flickr, YouTube, TeacherTube, Slideshare, etc. How will the learners interact with the content?
  • Discussions
  • Reviews/responses/ summaries
  • Projects
  • Reflections
  • Collaborations
  • Games
  • Asynchronous or synchronous?
  • How will you support the learners?
How will the objectives be assessed?
  • Objective items
  • Performance-based (consider MRKs--multiple representations of knowledge)

Note: I don't take complete credit for this graphical organizer.  I've seen pieces of it for a number of years on different sites (e.g., University of Maryland--College Park), pieces in books (e.g., Bloom's taxonomy), and  from personal experiences working with faculty and teachers.
