Below are two handbooks for technology integration. One is the Technology Coach Handbook; the other is the Teacher Technology Handbook. The Technology Coach Handbook is appropriate for Technology Resource Teachers, Technology Coaches, curriculum integration specialists and district professional development coordinators. The Coach Handbook contains techniques and strategies for supporting school- and district-level technology integration initiatives. Sections of the handbook include a philosophy of technology integration along with techniques for integrating different types of technologies.
The Teacher Technology Handbook is directly geared toward K-8 teachers interested in integrating technology into their classrooms. The first approximately 90 pages are complete lesson plans with grading rubrics and blackline masters, as well as example student products. These are organized by content areas. The remaining sections look at the different types of technologies available and ideas for integrating these into the classroom.
Both can be downloaded, copied and freely distributed. Both were created as part of a collaborative with the Appalachian Technology in Education Consortium and the University of Memphis.
