Regarding how the credits work: Above a free threshold, it's pay-as-you-go using a credit system.
All polls are given a complimentary 20 free credits (1 credit = 1 vote)
If someone is expecting more voters for a poll (e.g. you have a class of 100), the user would assign 80 credits to the poll. Of course, to be able to do this the user must have credits in their account (they can be purchased under "Account management").
Credits are quite cheap: 200 for every 99 cents with PayPal.
Note that any unused vote credits for a poll are refunded after the poll time limit ends (or if the poll is deleted from your account).
The first 500 credits (messages) are free. Every month we'll add another 200 free credits to your account. You can also get more by inviting your peers to use ClassParrot. We'll give you 200 credits for each person you invite who starts using ClassParrot. We'll also start them off with an extra 200 credits when they accept your invitation.

Tip: Slideshare requires a direct link to an mp3 file (which you can upload) in order to create a slidecast. The example above was create by downloading an mp3 file created in iPadio and then uploading it to Slideshare. However, I was able to use the download button at iPadio to capture the direct URL link to the mp3 and use this in Slideshare without having to download-then-upload the mp3 file. This way the audio file stays in one place on the web the whole time. Want to know more about how to slidecast, see http://help.slideshare.com/entries/57609-can-you-describe-how-to-create-a-slidecast-step-by-step
Twitter
My Twitter Story
I have become a firm believer that all faculty members and teachers should be using Twitter—either for professional development or as a teaching tool with students or both.
One tool that I am using is called HootCourse. It's easy to use and connects easily with Twitter. In fact, after you set up the tool, you actually don't have to use it for it to work. :)
Tools I've heard good things about
